Job Summary: Operating Room Nurse, California The organization is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the operating room to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position involves delivering evidence-based nursing practices, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
Job Details:
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; 0 years of experience required; California residency or licensure is required.
Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: The clinical nurse creates a healing environment through presence, emotional support, and education, guiding patients and families through recovery phases. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation, along with collaboration within the healthcare team.
