The role involves supporting various surgical procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
Job Details
Position Description: OR RN, with a start date of 10/26/2026, working on a rotating schedule that includes 8-hour days, 12-hour shifts, and weekends as scheduled. The schedule consists of shifts lasting 8 or 12 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and requires participation in holiday, weekend, and on-call duties.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid MD or Compact State RN license at the time of submission, minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with charge and patient ratio experience, experience with Epic charting system, and previous community hospital or LTAC experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma Level I and Level II settings, and familiarity with advanced surgical procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Da Vinci Robotics, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic robotic surgery, and other complex surgical interventions.
Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, be comfortable floating within scope, and hold certifications including CPI, BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or equivalent. Candidates should be prepared to start on 10/26/2026, with compliance requirements completed 5 days prior to start.
