Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Days Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized patient care within a Level II Trauma Center, supporting a variety of general surgical cases including trauma, urology, orthopedics, plastics, neuro, gynecology, endoscopy, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, bariatric, and robotic surgeries. The role requires strong OR experience with robotics and the skill to scrub and circulate.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: RN license (MD state or Compact license), BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; 2 years of OR experience, including robotics, general surgery, trauma, uro, ortho, plastics, neuro, gyn, endo, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, bariatric. Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, start time 6:45 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Level II Trauma Center; general OR cases with trauma, robotics, and specialty procedures; on-call 5-6 times per 4-week period, including weekends; required to float within the specialty and to sister campus as needed.
• Additional Information: Will consider candidates with 2 years of OR experience if strongly demonstrated; first-time travelers accepted with relevant general OR and robotics expertise; onboarding includes 36 hours of training.
• Submission Requirements: Must be able to start on 10/26/2026, with a contract length of 13 weeks, ending 01/25/2027. Must meet compliance deadlines and be comfortable floating and working in a high-volume trauma setting.
