Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Belfast, Maine. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical suite, including assisting with endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and urology procedures. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented RN with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Position Description: RN-Circulator in the operating room setting, supporting multiple surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout.
- Schedule: Days shift, starting on 08/31/2026, with hours from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of RN experience, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
- Unit Information: Features 3 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms; patient ratio of 1:1; equipped with Stryker, Storz, Steris, and other surgical equipment; using electronic medical record system.
- Additional Information: The role involves on-call duties from Friday at 4:15 PM until Monday at 6:45 AM, with rotating holiday call. No float requirement. The dress code includes hospital-provided blue scrubs.
