The assignment offers a team-oriented setting with a focus on surgical patient care across multiple service lines. The role includes on-call responsibilities, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one day off each week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, shifts from 07:00 to 16:30, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum of 5 years of operating room circulating experience, experience in a smaller facility OR, and proficiency with standard OR equipment and electronic medical records systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, or ENT.
- Additional Information: The unit values teamwork and a collaborative environment. On-call is expected once a week during the night (from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and approximately one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks. The role involves assisting on room turnovers and supporting surgical patients, emphasizing a patient-centered approach and team contribution.
