Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a busy surgical team
- Commitment to patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and professional accountability
Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care to surgical patients and their families
- Support daily patient flow to promote safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
- Circulate in the Operating Room and respond to incoming patient needs, questions, and concerns
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
- Deliver clear patient education to support informed decision-making and positive outcomes
- Coordinate care with physicians, staff, and other healthcare partners
- Use strong delegation skills and maintain high standards of communication and teamwork
- Model professionalism, relationship-based care, and a strong commitment to quality and safety
