Job Details

• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: Acute care operating room / perioperative services

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Evening shifts with weekend rotation and call requirements
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start: ASAP
• Charting System: EPIC
• Trauma Level: Level I

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of operating room, perioperative, or surgical nursing experience
• Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Experience scrubbing and/or circulating in neuro, orthopedics, and trauma cases preferred
• BLS certification required
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and take call as scheduled
• Comfortable working in a high-volume operating room environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the operating room
• Assist with scrubbing and/or circulating surgical cases as needed
• Support a broad range of procedures, including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
• Respond to call assignments and weekend rotation responsibilities
• Help ensure efficient patient flow in a busy OR with multiple suites and high daily case volume
