Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in various surgical disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room.
• Perform circulating duties during surgeries and procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide intraoperative and postoperative support, including recovery care in the PACU.
• Participate in patient assessments, education, and care planning.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Experience in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
• Experience with Oracle/Cerner EMR systems is preferred, but not mandatory.

Patient Demographics

Responsible for the care of patients ranging from ages 7 to 100.

Additional Information

If lacking in PACU experience, training will be provided to ensure comprehensive skill development.
