Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse located in an unspecified area specializing in surgical care within a Level I trauma center. This role involves providing perioperative nursing services in a busy, high-acuity environment across multiple service lines, including trauma, neuro, ortho, and robotics. The position requires working rotating shifts with weekend and holiday coverage as part of a dynamic surgical team.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Iowa Nursing License or a valid multistate license, BLS certification (American Heart Association), 24 months of current operating room experience, including scrub experience in general, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases.
• Schedule: Shift hours are 8 per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 with an ending date of 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current operating room experience, experience in general, neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, vascular cases, and EPIC electronic medical systems within the previous 3 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience highly preferred; Level II experience required.
• Additional Information: Must have scrub experience, work history/resume demonstrating 24 months of surgical experience, an active Iowa/IA license or multistate license at the time of submission, and a drivers license. No first-time travelers; candidates must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
