Job Summary Operating Room Nurse Level I Trauma, Iowa The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a Level I trauma center. The role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities in a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment, including robotics and trauma cases, with a focus on patient safety and operational excellence.
Job Details
Position Description: Operating Room Nurse with 24 months of current OR experience, including hospital/medical center settings, preferred in trauma, pediatrics, and robotics.
Certifications: Active Iowa or compact/Multistate nursing license; BLS (AHA).
Location Requirements: Iowa license or multistate license at the time of submission.
Education Requirements: Not specified.
Years of Experience: 24 years minimum required.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week minimum.
Additional Information: Must have scrub and circulating experience, with a preference for trauma, pediatrics, general, and robotics cases. Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records within the last 3 years is required. Health care professionals will be required to float across multiple campuses. Candidates should have experience with complex cases such as neurology, orthopedics (trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular. No first-time travelers; previous travel assignment within 15 months required.
Submission Requirements: Current work history/resume with 24 months of operating room experience, specific skills checklist, active license, and a professional reference from within the last 24 months. Drivers license is required.
