Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care, supporting a variety of surgical procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical setting, with the ability to float between different OR units as needed.
Job Details:
Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, BSN degree, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum three years of clinical experience, including previous travel assignments, scrub, and circulate surgical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Special Procedures/Units: Familiarity with a wide range of surgical procedures including Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS), Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), Plastic Surgery, Dental Surgery, Neurosurgery, and the use of the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
Additional Information: The role involves managing open and endoscopic cases, free flap reconstructive procedures, and potentially handling complex transplant surgeries. Float may be required to support various OR units within the facility. Orientation includes 40 hours of training prior to start.
