BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Shift Details: 12-hour, 36-hour Day/Evening rotation schedule. Day shift starts at 7:00 AM, with evening shifts beginning at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Required to work every third weekend as needed and every other holiday. On-call commitment is once per schedule. Candidates may be floated to Moakley OR based on staffing needs.

Local vs. Travel: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered & local accepted . 

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room (OR) experience; Level I Trauma experience preferred. Strong scrub experience is mandatory.

Department Overview: Surgical Services supports a wide range of specialties including General Surgery, GYN, GU, Oral, Otolaryngology, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Pediatrics, Trauma, and Spine. The department consists of 17 OR suites and operates 24/7.

Candidate Requirements: Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, strong communication skills, and competency in at least five of the listed surgical specialties. Preference will be given to candidates with Neuro and Vascular experience and those with broader expertise beyond General, GYN, and GU cases.

Certifications: Current BLS certification required.
