Job Details

• Position: RN - Operating Room at a healthcare facility in Wenatchee, WA
• Schedule: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: WA State / Compact RN Licensure, active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications, minimum 1 year of experience in OR nursing, working in a healthcare facility setting, with at least 0 years of experience in the specialty
• Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice.
  • Develops, implements, and continually reassesses patients individualized plans of care.
  • Provides nursing care including administration of medications, completing procedures and treatments.
  • Evaluates discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and makes changes as necessary.
  • Documents care, assessments, plans, interventions, and responses accurately.
  • Performs holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and responds appropriately.
  • Determines and completes appropriate nursing actions to meet care goals, considering physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
  • Teaches patients and family members relevant health information in a timely manner with written materials.
  • Maintains current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures.
  • Delegates appropriately and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
  • Participates in performance evaluation and quality improvement processes.
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Additional Information: Required to take call, float as a sitter, and float in rotation.
