• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720

• Call Requirement: One weekday call per week, plus one 24-hour call shift in each four-week block
• Holiday Coverage: Travelers must work 2 of the 4 major holidays listed for the assignment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a large trauma Level 1 facility with 500+ beds
• Recent EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years is required
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room
• Ability to scrub a wide range of surgical cases, including general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular
• Must be flexible with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Serve in both circulating nurse and scrub nurse roles as needed
• Support a broad variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Assist with charge nurse coverage when assigned
• Participate in weekday call and extended call coverage
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation in the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to promote efficient case flow
• Adapt to changing patient acuity and unit needs in a fast-paced surgical services environment
