Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing specialized preoperative and intraoperative patient care in a busy operating room environment. The role requires adaptability and strong clinical skills to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience, including trauma experience. Certification as a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in General, Urology, Gynecology, Orthopedic trauma, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position supports a 26-bed operating room with patient ratios of 1:1. Equipment includes Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and an Intuitive Robot. EMR utilized is Epic. The facility operates with a level 1 trauma designation and expects candidates to be flexible, accountable, timely, and team-oriented. Scrubs are teal, issued from the hospital. The position is created to provide coverage for leave with one opening available.
