• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700 - $2,840
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Day/evening rotation with weekday and weekend call coverage as needed
• Hours: 36-40 hours per week, depending on schedule rotation
• Orientation: Weekly orientation with a first-week schedule of daytime training

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required; 1-3 years preferred
• Strong orthopedic and total joint experience preferred
• Scrub experience required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with rotating day/evening coverage
• Up-to-date COVID vaccination series, booster, and seasonal flu vaccine required
• Experience in a teaching hospital or specialty surgical setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
• Perform circulating and scrub duties as required
• Support orthopedic and total joint cases with strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Participate in call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach in a dynamic surgical environment
• Adapt quickly to workflow expectations and contribute to a positive team culture
