Job Summary Operating Room Nurse - Specialty: OR - Location: Not Specified. This position entails providing specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to clinical excellence.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week starting from 10/12/2026 through 01/24/2027.
Additional responsibilities include supporting operating room activities, assisting in surgical procedures, and maintaining sterile techniques and safety standards during operative cases.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field, three to five years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience, current or future bachelors degree in nursing, CNOR certification (preferred), ACLS certification (preferred).
Additional Information: Experience with pre-operative area skills and IV start skills is preferred, along with the potential for float rotation if required.
