Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) specialty position located in a rural healthcare facility. The role involves circulating and recovering patients in a surgical setting, with a focus on a variety of procedures including endoscopy, appendectomy, colonoscopy, and total joint replacements. The schedule is primarily during daytime hours, with a commitment of at least 40 hours per week from the start date through early April 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of charge experience, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, and background in community hospital, LTAC, or trauma-level facilities.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Skills: Ambulatory operating room procedures, appendectomy, cardiac monitoring, colonoscopy, endoscopy, electrosurgical units, fire safety, general OR procedures, hernia repair, myringotomy with tubes, pediatric procedures, total joint replacement, VATS, PACU/recovery unit, special procedures like endoscopy.
• Additional Information: The role requires flexibility to float between nearby facilities, with the possibility of working 2 days a week on call, including holidays and weekends. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Candidates should respond to screening questions regarding prior employment at Providence facilities and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
