Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / Interventional Radiology – Boston, MA

Join a 13-week Boston travel nursing assignment as an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) supporting operating room, interventional radiology, and procedural care. This on-site opportunity is ideal for a confident IR RN with expertise in procedural nursing and pre- and post-procedure recovery.

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000–$3,160
• Location: Boston, MA 02215
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• End Date: January 23, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday; no weekends
• Hours: 40 hours per week with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
• Work Environment: On-site operating room, procedural, and interventional care setting

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at the time of submission and start
• At least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, operating room, or comparable procedural nursing
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong patient assessment, monitoring, procedural support, and clinical judgment skills
• Current COVID-19 vaccination and booster; medical exemptions may be considered
• Current influenza vaccination; medical exemptions may be considered
• Must meet travel nursing assignment eligibility requirements, including residing at least 50 miles from the worksite

Operating Room and Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during surgical, interventional, and diagnostic procedures
• Support procedural services across imaging and interventional environments, including CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, interventional radiology, and neurointerventional radiology
• Complete pre-procedure assessments, patient preparation, education, and safety checks
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition
• Deliver post-procedure recovery care, including reassessment, stabilization, and discharge preparation
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection prevention, medication safety, and professional nursing standards
