Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care in a busy acute care facility. The OR nurse will be responsible for supporting trauma, vascular, neuro, and orthopedic procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and contributing to patient safety and positive outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, days only.
- Required Qualifications: California licensed RN with a minimum of 3 years of operating room experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures. Current BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma Level I or II certification preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Additional Information:
- Must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby.
- Must provide two references covering at least one year.
- Housing options should be arranged independently, as options may be limited.
- Night shifts may be required on an as-needed basis.
- The candidate must include RTO (Reasonable Time Off) restrictions at the time of submission.
- No RTO restrictions or pending license acceptance policies apply.
