Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor (MS ORTHO) at the location is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a night shift position. This role involves providing patient care within a 25-bed unit specializing in neuro and orthopedic cases, with a focus on managing general medical and surgical conditions, including chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips.

Job Details

• Location: Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area
• Position: Medical Surgical Orthopedic RN
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in the state; 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech EMR experience; telemetry experience.
• Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care, managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, weight-based heparin drips, and adhering to unit policies and procedures.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform required procedures and hold necessary certifications to be considered.
