Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse in Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves providing patient care on a busy orthopedic surgical unit, supporting a team of experienced staff, and managing a diverse patient caseload. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with modern equipment and a collaborative team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. No prior experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic medical record experience, telemetry competency.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Unit policies and guidelines are available upon request.
