Travel Nurse RN - Orthopedics - $1,894 per week in Maryville, TN

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Tennessee

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required, patient ratio up to 1:6

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with 30 beds and daily census of 15-20 patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including ortho trauma, total joint replacements, bariatric surgery, and short stay management
• Epic EMR system with Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension based on facility needs and eligibility requirements
• Paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursed)

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or compact multistate license
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Teaching and community hospital experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV management, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, feeding tube care, and telemetry monitoring
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Willingness to float to like units based on skill set as needed
