- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

**Unit Overview: J6 Orthopedics**
- **Patient Capacity:** 32 individual rooms
- **Dedicated Staff:** 50 professionals
- **Staffing Levels:**
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 3 PCTs, 1 HUC
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Day Shift: 5:1 (6:1 stretch)
- Night Shift: 6:1 (7:1 stretch)
**What You'll Use:**
- Equipment: Walkers, Bedside Commode, Bladder Scanners, CPM, Sky Lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, Vital Sign Machine, Hover Mat, Bair Hugger, Wheelchairs
- EMR System: Cerner
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must-Haves:**
- NC Nursing License
- BLS Certification
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Hospital experience
- Orthopedic experience
**Typical Procedures:**
- Dressing changes, Suture/Staple removal
- Foley Catheter insertion
- NG Tubes
- Wound Vac maintenance and removal

**Additional Information:**
- Floating Areas: Other Med-Surg Units
- Dress Code:
- RNs: Navy Scrubs
- PCTs: Galaxy Blue Scrubs
- LPNs: Sage Green Scrubs
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
**Experience Required:** 2 years
