Job Title: Registered Nurse - Outpatient Clinic (Interventional)
Location: Seattle, WA, 98122
Job Type: 32-week contract with the possibility of extensions
Shift Timing: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM (Mon to Fri)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week; 8 hrs/day, and 5 days in a week (5x8s)
Unit: Interventional RN

 

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Interventional Clinic. The RN will provide care to patients before and after interventional procedures, perform patient assessments, triage patient calls and messages, monitor post-procedure recovery, reinforce provider-directed medication instructions, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and promptly escalate urgent patient concerns. This is an ambulatory outpatient clinic role and does not include procedural sedation or intra-procedure nursing unless specifically trained and credentialed.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care in an outpatient interventional clinic setting.
Assess patients before and after interventional procedures.
Monitor patient symptoms, medication changes, and post-procedure recovery.
Triage patient phone calls and messages using clinic protocols and provider direction.
Reinforce provider-directed medication instructions and patient education.
Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team.
Assess symptoms and determine the appropriate level of escalation.
Escalate urgent patient concerns, including unstable symptoms or post-procedure complications.

 

Required Qualifications:
WA State Active RN License
BLS (AHA) Certification
