Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week with varied start times (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM). No weekends required. May be required to stay beyond scheduled shift based on room completion status.

Highlights:

• Work in an Outpatient Surgery setting covering PreOp, PostOp, and PACU
• Diverse surgical specialties including retina surgery, total hip/knee replacement, hand surgery, breast oncology and reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with 5 operating rooms and average daily census of 10-18 patients
• Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management systems
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV insertion and maintenance
• Familiarity with conscious sedation, general anesthesia, and local anesthesia
• Experience with pre-operative and post-operative nursing procedures
• Willingness to float within all divisions of Outpatient Surgery
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
