Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient / Ambulatory Care

Location: New York, NY 10003
Job Type: 13+Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 34.5 hours/week 
Local Pay: $55/hr on w2

                   Travel Pay Package Pay Rate on W2 (Hourly) Taxable $25.00 Pay Rate on W2 (Weekly) Taxable $862.50 Hours 34.50 Stipend Hourly (Non-Taxable) $35.00 Stipend Weekly (Non-Taxable) $1,207.50 Gross Hourly Pay  $60.00 Gross Weekly Pay $2,070.00

 

Job Summary

MD Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with Ambulatory Care experience for a contract assignment in New York City. The RN will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting while collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
  • Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support efficient patient flow.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active New York State RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Minimum 2 years of ambulatory care experience
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
