Registered Nurse (RN) - Peri Anesthesia

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Peri Anesthesia to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is vital in providing high-quality perioperative care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing anesthesia procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any complications during and after anesthesia administration.
• Educate patients and their families regarding the anesthesia process and postoperative care.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in peri anesthesia care.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position requires variable shifts between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend shifts are required approximately every 5 to 6 weeks. On-call responsibilities are also part of this role.
