Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN - Rotating Days This position is based in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing specialized patient care following surgical procedures. The role involves caring for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics to geriatrics, with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, thoracic, urology, and gynecological surgeries.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 rotating days and nights shifts, beginning at 07:30 AM and ending at 08:00 PM or 07:30 PM and 08:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must hold an active MD or Compact state RN license, and possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. No minimum years of experience required (experience requirement: 0 years).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in charge roles, community hospital, LTAC, trauma Level I or II center, travel experience, and charting system experience with Epic preferred.
• Additional Responsibilities: Floating within the specialty, including alternate facilities as needed, and working in a unit supporting interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
• Certifications: Valid RN license; CPI, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 72 hours of signing the contract; all compliance documents are due five days prior to the start date.
