Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to practice in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of acute PACU nursing experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required within 6 months of hire for PACU
- Strong clinical background in perioperative, recovery, and surgical services settings
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a high daily patient volume
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the PACU and Prep/Recovery setting
- Monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery and support smooth transitions across surgical services
- Assess patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team as needed
- Use Epic to document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Support patient education, discharge readiness, and recovery planning
- Assist with a wide range of surgical and procedural recovery needs in a dynamic care environment
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while upholding safety, quality, and workflow standards
