Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the facility located in Bridgeport, CT. This position involves providing patient care in the ambulatory post-anesthesia setting, focusing on recovery from surgery across a variety of case types including orthopedics, neuro, general surgery, gynecology, urology, robotic, and cranial procedures. The role requires experienced nursing professionals to work a flexible schedule with rotating shifts over an extended assignment period.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 40 hours per week; two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• End Date: 01/03/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 23 years of PACU experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diverse surgical cases including orthopedics, neuro, general surgery, GYN, urology, robotic, and cranial procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position involves scheduled day shifts, some rotation to night and evening shifts, and weekend call requirements, up to 3 call shifts within a six-week schedule. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced recovery environment and possess excellent patient assessment skills.
