Job Summary: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse position in the specified location. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care to patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient recovery following surgical procedures. The assignment is designed for experienced healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa state license, at least 1 year of previous experience, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications, driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, copy of certifications, and one supervisory reference.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), extensive trauma center experience preferred.
Additional Information: Travelers may float within the same discipline across local campuses. The assignment includes working 1-2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). On-call responsibilities include one night per week and every fifth weekend. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on drivers license. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and concludes on 12/21/2026.
