Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care | Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care hospital assignment. The RN will provide safe, patient- and family-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments.
Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress and document clinical interventions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff.
Serve as a mentor/preceptor and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ASN) program.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
