The organization is seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing post-operative recovery services to adult and pediatric patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.

- Required Qualifications: RN certification with ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials; minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit; experience in acute hospital settings preferred, including rural environments; proficiency in IV skills and prior travel assignment experience is desirable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and at least 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Additional Information: The PACU cares for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, with common procedures including total joints, laparoscopic surgeries, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, C-section, and pacemaker placements. The unit features 10 beds, with patient ratios of 1:4 for pre-op and phase 2, and 1:2 for PACU. Equipment includes electronic health record systems and monitoring devices. The unit operates with a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills.
