Job Summary PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not specified. This position involves providing post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending at 8:30 AM, primarily scheduled around outpatient surgeries, orthopedic, urology, general surgeries, and various outpatient procedures.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: Valid state license or pending license accepted, at least 1 year of clinical experience in PACU or related area, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include variable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Outpatient surgery does not have shift relief, and nurses are expected to stay and complete their scheduled shifts.
Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work Monday through Friday, with no scheduled weekends, holidays, or call. The workflow involves outpatient surgeries, general, orthopedic, urology, and infusion therapies.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must include their response to whether they have worked at a Providence facility in any capacity, along with two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
