Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous PACU, perioperative, or Med-Surg experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care for patients following surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability
• Assess patients for complications and escalate concerns promptly when needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and provider orders
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support a smooth transition from PACU to the next level of care
