Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an organized healthcare setting. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults throughout the life cycle. The RN will execute standards of nursing practice, develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and participate actively in shared decision-making to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care, focusing on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions, in accordance with standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area, including critical care environments such as the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota state nursing license; a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ED), PACU experience, prior travel experience, Epic electronic health record experience, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations, trauma Level I experience, and 2 years of relevant work history with pertinent skills.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must document prior work history with specified healthcare providers on their resume; all RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; a temporary Minnesota nursing license will be accepted if the candidate has applied for a permanent license and holds the temporary license at the time of submission.
