PACU RN – Job Description

• Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Days, start times between 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Weekends: No weekends
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience
• ICU Experience: Required
• Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients
• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process from admission through discharge
• Apply knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards of care
• Perform airway management and comprehensive nursing assessments
• Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology, including medication doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and adverse reactions
• Floating: May be required to other CPMC campuses based on staffing needs and census

Required Certifications & Licensure:CA RN License | BLS (AHA) | ACLS | PALS
