Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370–$2,500
• Assignment: 13-week travel nursing contract

• Schedule: Monday–Friday; either 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call and Holidays: No call or holiday coverage required
• Patient Ratio: 4:1, with the same nurse caring for the patient from start to finish
• Documentation: Epic electronic medical record
• Uniforms: Scrubs provided by the unit

PACU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• At least 2 years of recent PACU or comparable critical-care nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with pre- and post-procedure patient care, IV starts, and moderate sedation
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred

PACU RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-anesthesia care for primarily adult inpatients and outpatients
• Monitor patients throughout recovery, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access and administer prescribed therapies, including antibiotics
• Care for patients undergoing procedures using moderate sedation
• Complete ongoing assessments, recovery documentation, and patient education in Epic
• Coordinate safe transfers, discharges, and transitions of care
• Maintain continuity of care by managing assigned patients throughout their recovery experience
• Collaborate with anesthesia, procedural, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
