Job Requirements

• 2+ years of PACU Registered Nurse experience required
• BSN required
• Current Pennsylvania RN license or compact eligibility, as applicable
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple care environments and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor airway, breathing, circulation, pain levels, and overall post-operative status
• Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and perioperative staff to support safe patient recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Float between assigned recovery locations as needed to support patient care operations
