CLINICAL INTERVIEW
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years PACU prefer LVL 1 experience. Will you accept a first-time traveler? No. Stroke assessment skills, EVD, Alines, CT management, Medication safety, IV starts, vents, cardiac drips, sedation, pain management
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
EMR: Cerner
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: No hearts, no transplants. MVA, GSW, poly trauma, neuro, colorectal, GYN/ONC, ENT, blocks, pain team during the day
Patient Ratios: RN: 1:2
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every 3rd weekend
On call? If so, what is that schedule? Weekend call: 16 hours of call in a 6-week period, night shift call picks up night shift call positions
Holiday Expectations: one major summer, one major winter and one minor winter
Scrub Color: seal blue, hospital provided OR blue
Parking: Free, night shift can park in parking garage
