Job Summary Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: The healthcare facility is seeking a qualified RN for a position within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role involves providing hands-on patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, evaluating their condition, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, no minimum years of experience required.
Responsibilities include creating a healing environment, assessing patient status, implementing interventions, teaching self-care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
The RN must monitor their own practices for safety and compliance, contribute to team building, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Effective communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
