PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pre and post-operative patient care within a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions, performing necessary interventions as required.
• Assist in pre and post Cath lab and IR procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to the Holding area as needed, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center and Telemetry.
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Ability to work a day shift schedule of 4x12 hours, with availability for on-call needs of 1-2 overnight shifts monthly.

Schedule and Availability

• Day shift: 4x12 hours (06:00 - 18:30).
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day).
• Weekend requirement: One weekend per month.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week, with a maximum of three call-offs allowed within a 13-week assignment.
• Pending licensure will be accepted for qualified candidates.
• Parking available at no cost for staff.
