Strong Patient Assessment, Nursing Care Coordination, Critical Thinking and Nursing Judgment
Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, narcotics, medical equipment and instruments
Graduation from an accredited RN program; ADN or BSN preferred
Must maintain all required Kern Medical health requirements
Description:
Independently provide safe, therapeutic nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for acutely ill patients.
Rapidly assess changing patient conditions, prioritize interventions and activate emergency protocols when needed.
Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and Advanced Practice Providers while maintaining accurate documentation and individualized care plans.
Maintain patient and employee safety through infection control, medication safety, evidence-based practices and hospital policies.
