Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in a healthcare facility. This 13-week contract position involves providing high-quality patient care in a 32-bed unit with a focus on post-operative care, drip titration, and non-titration drips. The role requires flexibility with shift rotations and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), candidate must have at least 1 year of nursing experience.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Patient Care Responsibilities: Pre and post-operative care, drip titration and non-titration drips, patient monitoring, medication administration.
Equipment and Technology: Patient-specific IV pumps, SCD pumps, Bipap/Cpap machines, Tele monitor
Unit Profile: 32 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4, EMR system is Meditech
