Job Summary:
Applicants seeking a Registered Nurse position in the ICU/Step Down specialty at a healthcare facility in Plano, Texas, will find this role suitable. The position involves providing specialized patient care on a rotating schedule, with a focus on acute and critical patient management in a Telemetry/Step Down unit. The nurse will work night shifts and participate in a 13-week assignment contributing to the organizations clinical objectives.

Job Details:

  • Location: Plano, TX
  • Unit: Tele 6th Floor (634)
  • Position: RN-ICU/Step Down
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • Hours per Week: Minimum of 36 hours
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Rotation may include weekend shifts
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Registered Nurse (TXRN) license; minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, including 2+ years in a specialty area; current BLS; current ACLS
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MEDITECH electronic documentation system; telemetry, progressive care, or step-down unit experience; specialty/unit certifications as needed
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be neat, clean, and able to follow dress code policies including specific scrub colors and grooming standards. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Floating policies and attendance policies as per the organizations standards are in place.
