Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients across various units, including medical-surgical, telemetry, and intensive care. The position requires floating to meet institutional needs, with some responsibilities as a charge nurse on small units. The RN will ensure effective patient care delivery adhering to hospital standards and protocols.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/06/2026 and ending on 01/05/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, valid state license (compact license preferred), and US work experience.
  • Certifications: ACLS*, NIHSS
  • Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Continual Bladder Irrigation (CBI), CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Epidural analgesia*, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols*, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Neuro/Telemetry, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Orthopedic trauma*, Oxygen administration, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent*, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Peripheral nerve block catheters*, Phlebotomy*, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Angiogram*, Post MI*, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath*, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery*, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management*, Pre/Post neurosurgery*, Renal failure, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury*, Starting and maintaining IVs, Substance Withdrawal*, Surgical drains*, Telemetry monitoring, Titration of Cardiac and Vasoactive drips*, Total joint replacement*, Tracheostomy care/management, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Traumatic Brain injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac*.
  • Additional Information: The position includes floating between units to meet patient care needs, with the possibility of charge nurse responsibilities on small units. It is essential that clinicians have US-based experience, and prior charge experience is required. Candidates must be flexible for holiday work and adhere to scheduling requests made at the time of submission.
