Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is sought for a position located in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves providing direct patient care, assessing and planning treatment, and supervising staff on a per-shift basis. The position aims to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care while supporting operational efficiency within the healthcare facility.

Job Details:

  • Location: Glendale, AZ
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification (e.g., RN license), relevant degree, at least 1 year of experience (or equivalent), valid Arizona state licensure, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), ICU, or Stepdown unit, NIHSS certification, and experience with electronic medical records
  • Additional Information: The registered nurse will assume responsibility for patient assessments, clinical care, and supervision of staff. The role involves collaboration with the facilitys leadership to maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality. The position requires proficiency in evaluating patient needs and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
