Job Requirements

• Current RN license and eligibility to work in the assigned state
• Minimum 1 year of current PCU hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• Strong cardiac telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to manage a busy assignment with excellent teamwork and communication
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is helpful
• Comfort working with complex, high-acuity patients in a progressive care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with complex medical and cardiac needs
• Monitor telemetry, assess changes in patient condition, and respond quickly to clinical concerns
• Support post-cath, post-thoracic surgery, and post-cardiac surgery patient care
• Perform chest tube management, neurovascular checks, and routine PCU nursing interventions
• Administer and monitor IV drips, oxygen support, and respiratory therapies as ordered
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, efficient patient care
