Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience; location: 10/12/2026; scheduled shift: days, 12 hours; minimum hours per week: 36 hours.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Clinical Duties: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; develops and updates patient care plans; participates in patient education and discharge planning; communicates effectively to ensure continuity of care; supervises ancillary nursing personnel; maintains documentation accuracy; participates in team building and quality improvement activities.
• Operational Responsibilities: Ensures safety and environmental protocols are followed; manages supplies and equipment; contributes to cost-effective patient care; assumes charge responsibilities upon orientation completion; demonstrates ongoing professional development.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include promoting patient and employee safety, utilizing problem solving in decision-making, and providingcalm, competent direction to staff, patients, and families.
